Interlocking Brick (CSEB) Production Manual

Interlocking Bricks (CSEB) are made by mixing Soil, Sand and Cement and compressing it in a machine. It is an Earthquake resistant technology recommended by the government of Nepal. It is fast to build with and on average 25% less cost compared to fired bricks. Concrete Stabilised Earth Bricks (CSEBs) or Interlocking stabilised soil blocks are cheaper to produce, (mostly) use locally available materials and are more environmental friendly (as there is no need to burn the bricks). You can also refer to https://answers.practicalaction.org/our-resources/item/compressed-stabilised-earth-block-cseb-construction-manual/ page to know more about building structures using these stabilised soil bricks.
