Human operated water pump using bicycle

This short video is on bicycle powered pumping device used to lift water. Bicycle powered water pump can be used in rural areas where mainline electricity is not available or at scarce. Bicycle powered water pump is a low cost solution for those who cannot afford to buy a traditional electrical water pump. This low cost water pump can lift water from a well to the ground level which is around 7-15 meters vertical height. A small scale farmer or a small household will be able to collect water from running or still source using this machine.
