Communities waste composting initiative

Nakuru Waste Collectors and Recyclers Management (NAWACOM) NAWACOM is an acronym of Nakuru Waste Collectors and Recycler’s Management. NAWACOM is an an umbrella organization of groups dealing with waste management. The organization was initiated in 2002 by Practical Action and fully supported by GTZ project on solid waste management. The project implementation commenced fully in the year 2003.
